This version is minus the adult situations (a man crushing on a coffee barista, a girl making sexual advances, etc.) But the topics are still quite serious.A few years back I let my son read this book, my intent was to read it as the same time. This book really does touch your heart. Enzo is the most lovable character, and I'll admit I did shed a few tears at the end. I definitely recommend this book to any dog-lovers. It makes you laugh, cry, think, and is all together a great story.

Racing in the Rain is an endearing story about a dog, Enzo, who lived at a farm until he was picked out by Denny and taken to Seattle. Enzo was not altogether happy when Denny met Eve, and then they soon got married. He was jealous for Denny's affection.
