Ilustration Supposing Books The Dark Secret (Wings of Fire #4)

The WINGS OF FIRE saga continues with a visit to the mysterious land of the NightWings, where Starflight must face a terrible choice---his home, or his friends? Like all the dragonets of destiny, Starflight has always wanted to see his home -- but he's also been afraid of his fellow NightWings. Starflight doesn't have mindreading powers like his tribe, and he doesn't understand why they're so secretive. No one has ever even seen the NightWing queen. But now Starflight is the dragonets' only hope -- he must find a way to negotiate with his fellow NightWings to free the RainWing dragons they've captured, and perhaps end the war in Pyrrhia altogether. Starflight is the smartest of the dragonets... but is he brave enough to speak up? Or will he falter in his mission, and accidentally betray them all?

Commentary Of Books The Dark Secret (Wings of Fire #4)
I am reading this series with my 9 year old as a book club. Every night we talk about what is going on in the story. He is just loving this series and I am having a hard time keeping up with the number of chapters he reads every day since I have a job and a family to care for. I kept expecting the series to get less interesting, but there are so many things that happen in every chapter that it really keeps you turning the pages. I have to say that it is a very fun series to read for kids and

Wings of Fire: The Dark Secret by Tui T. Sutherland was great! There's finally a book coming from my favorite character's view in the whole series of Wings of Fire, Starflight. Every single chapter ended with a cliffhanger, which made my eyes glued to the book. The book had really challenging scenarios for the main character, which made me want to read more! This book really showed how hard it was for Starflight to understand his original tribe, the NightWings. Their methods of all the things

My mind is blown. This series was taken to a whole new level. The big plot twist at the end was insane!!!

It turns out what is necessary for me to ship romances is a BUNCH OF BAD STUFF HAPPENING. Cause whooo yikes bad stuff happens. DRAGONS DRAGONS SNARKY DRAGONS SCIENCE DRAGONS MAGIC DRAGONS.

starflight went through so much development I am so proud of himTHO I am about 99.9% sure that sunny is gonna reject him in the next book rip my poor boySuper exciting tho, rolling right off the momentum of the previous book, throws lots of shit we think we know about nightwings and the prophecy into a blender and spits it back out like wtf Super excited

For someone who's not overly-fond of dragons, I really like this series. I have the same problems with this installment as I did with the second one--the focus is almost entirely on ONE of the dragonets and I miss the other group members throughout the book. Starflight was probably my least favorite of the dragons--throughout the first three books he was cowardly and whiny--but I enjoyed watching him grow in this book. I'm so excited for Sunny's story and to finish up the series in the next
