this was the closest edition available gr bc i technically read ~340 pages and ik i could've used the penguin classics edition but that's like 1000 pages and this girl did not read that much lmao. this book is fun buttttt its written in really old tricky Spanish and i basically marathon read this book in like a day because the test was the next day lollook @ me i read a classic"When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? Perhaps to be too practical is madness. To surrender dreams this may be madness. Too much sanity may be madness and maddest of all: to see life as it is, and not as it should be!"Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, Don Quixote"Virtue is persecuted by the wicked more than it is loved by the good."Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, Don QuixoteMaybe the world would be a better place if we all saw it as it should be and gave our all like Don
Weighing in at just over that of a VW Beetle, I took my time picking this up, but what a relevation! An outstanding read, full of the most incredible characters and adventures.Absolutely loved it.

Duh. There's something to laugh at or lament on every page of Volume I. The interpolated novels require patience, and the captive's story in particular seemed sluggish, but this is mostly because they are outshined by every moment spent with Don Quixote and Sancho. Beware enchanters and blankets. On to Part II, which I'm told is even better.
A beautiful story of two people on a journey together. Its funny, adveturous, and everything in-between. Don Quijote and Sancho Panza are the two parts of your brain: one rational and the other is a dreamer. We meet many people along the journey; some who trick us, others who stand up for us and help. wear clothing that represents who your are; not to ostentatious, but not below your level either while Sancho was a great leader, even they have to face war and fight, which he wasnt meant to do
Deep book with many crazy moments and funny situations. At time hard to follow but a must read.
