It was a great conclusion to this trilogy!! So glad I read these!!!This series just didn't do it for me.
Definitely my favorite in the series!! This time we learn even more about our main couple, Alastair and Lia and the author really focuses on them more than the outside influences. The sex scenes are hot and have a FSOG kind of feel to them. I enjoyed this series because the Alastair and Lia are far from perfect and I enjoy reading books when no matter how broken the characters are, even they deserve love, but they need to work through issues in order to get there. I could not put this one down

Although I have read all of the books in this series I will admit that it has never been one of my favourites. The narrative was what kept me reading but I've always felt there was something missing and disengaging whereby my attention drifted throughout the middle of the books. For that reason when I saw Effortless on NetGalley I was reading it more to find out was happened in the end. I wasn't that excited but I was curious.Anyway, what I didn't expect was for it to engage me the way I did.
