Commentary In Pursuance Of Books Best Friends for Never (The Clique #2)

In the second book starring Westchester County's most privileged middle schoolers, the Clique declares Massie a hero for hosting the first boy/girl Halloween party of 8th grade. Massie's already hired Landon Dorsey, the hottest party planner in the 9-1-4 area code, but her parents insist she has to invite the entire class. Unfortunately that means everyone. Layne is bummed that the boys will be there -- she IMs Claire that's so "DESPR8" -- as Claire wonders if maybe a boyfriend will make her happy.Meanwhile, Massie and the Clique are fighting over who gets to invite Derek Herrington. Dylan thought it was obvious that she was the one who danced all night with Derek at the OCD benefit last month, but says "Whatevs" when Kristen gets all weird about it. Fine, she can have him. He was a terrible dancer anyway and there will be tons of guys to choose from at the party....

Assessment Regarding Books Best Friends for Never (The Clique #2)
I can't believe i'm saying this but this book was actually good. Most books about fashion and rich obnoxious girls don't interest me, but this one was actually cool. It's about this clique of girls at an all girl junior high who are on the verge of being seperated. The leader, Massie, feels like she's loosing her sense of authority on the other 3 girls. Now she's at war with one of her best friends from second grade.I'm really looking forward to the next book.

A good book full a drama and other stuff

Ouch does the title hurt. If you have read the first book, The Clique, you would know about the four girls in the Pretty Committee, and Claire Lyons, the girl who wants to be In. Things go sour for the two girls in the Pretty Committee, over a guy. It was always friends first ... right? I liked this book, and all the other books in The Clique series. This one was special because it showed how the Pretty Committee fought each other in public and not only against everyone else in their school. I

Another part of my beach vacation reading plans to pretend like I'm in high school again. Make that Junior High.

This is the second book in the clique series. In this book the Massie (the leader f the clique) through a huge Halloween party. They meet boys, and fight over boys. When the girls in the clique wear their revealing costumes to school, they get busted. Will they get uniforms??? this is a good book.

This book is pretty good. I must say it is not as good as the first and other books. In this book Massie decides that she should have her first BOY GIRL HALLOWEEN PARTY. Why... because Massie is ridiculously paraniod that she is not staying on the top of the "middle school pyramid." And of course Claire is still not apart of the Pretty Committie and completly un- wanted. But... of course Claire has to plan the party with Massie in order to have it. This book is a good sequal but it is not realy

The story starts during Mr. Block's celebratory birthday dinner in which Todd Lyons spills grape juice all over Massie's skirt. Massie accuses Claire of repeating outfits and Claire retorts that this is perfectly normal, and that Massie should be ashamed that she buys new clothes everyday. Massie's mother agrees that she has not come in the door without a shopping bag since she was nine. The girls strike a deal in which Massie is not allowed to buy any clothes for a month and Claire is not
